Saint Chartier

This village holds the International Music Festival at the château and in surrounding venues, including the house of George Sands. It attracts visitors and musicians from all over the world. It exhibits many instruments, and how they are made is demonstrated by artisans. The festival takes place in July, and has been held for the last 30 years.
