La Châtre

La Châtre ; This is a busy market town, especially on a Saturday morning, when the stalls are set up in the square. Fish, fresh vegetables, cheeses and regional products are all on show. The café in the square, overlooking the market, does a roaring trade in the summer months, with people 'chilling out' with wine, beer or a coffee, and simply watching the world go by.
